Headlight Restoration Kit

Auto Magic’s Headlight Restoration System can quickly restore yellowed and hazy headlights up to original OEM specifications without power tools or additional equipment. Years of scratches and discoloration magically wipe away in a few easy steps with crystal clear results. Instructions: (1) Tape and mask areas surrounding the headlamp area to protect from abrasives and sealant. Clean lens to ensure they are free of contaminates. (2) Wet sand starting with 600 grit wet sandpaper, wipe clean with a lint free cloth. Finish sanding with 1500 grit wet sandpaper until the surface is smooth. (3) Thoroughly clean surfaces to be restored and finish wipe with provided Alcohol wipe. Surface needs to be completely dry and free of contaminates. (4) When using product, make sure it is at least room temperature, about 70-degrees or 21-degrees C. Pour sealant into provided tray. Dip the included sponge into the sealant. When applying the sealant, use a 50/50 overlap with even strokes from side to side. Avoid applying the sealant under sunlight. If you see runs or a dry area, you can re-wipe the sealant as it has a one minute work time at ambient temperatures. (5) Wait 1 minute for the sealant to level and flatten. Remove tape and wipe excess sealant from surrounding areas using the lens dryer. Pull vehicle in sunlight or use a UV curing lamp. Allow 3-5 minutes to cure. Allow 6 minutes to cure for an overcast day.
